Next week we are starting a mini inquiry into Matariki. We will be thinking about what it is, why we celebrate it and finding out more about it. As part of this we will be thinking about our families, in particular our ancestors, and the importance of sharing our family stories.
We would love to do some writing and art about our grandparents. If it is possible could you please send in a photo of a grandparent, either electronically or in a book bag. If this is not possible choose another member of your family (could be mum or dad, or even a well known auntie or uncle).
